MRS-20P Primary Compression Plate Seal

Our MRS-20P Primary Compression Plate Seal a vapor or vapour mounted rim seals on an external floating roof consists of a continuous seal mounted on the rim of the floating roof and extending to the tank wall, covering the entire primary seal. These primary seals are normally constructed with a flexible polymeric material, where the design incorporates steel leaf’s to bridge the gap between the roof and the tank wall. The leaf’s acts as a compression plate to hold a polymeric wiper against the tank wall.

MGL Projects Floating Roof Rim Seals are custom designed to each individual tank within the requirements of API 650/653, BS 2654, EN-14.015 and EEMUA-159.
